FINALLY. The Sunshine Coast of Australia and the Pacific Ocean. What a sight. I felt at home seeing an Ocean that connected with my home I miss so much in Vancouver Canada. I put my feet in the water and walked along the beach taking sand from the Pacific ocean beach here and will drop it in the Tasman Sea 3000 km south in Melbourne
I think this is a Brown Snake or Taipan….If so they are bad news.
I can almost see Brisbane 150 km. The single treacherous Bruce hwy was the only road north of here, making it extremely busy and full of very large trucks plus a poor surface. I enjoyed the outback areas and the dirt and gravel roads I used to get off it. This highway that was cut through the jungle and rain forests up north has opened to a choice of beautiful winding countryside roads with undulating hills, pastures with cattle, green grass, water in the streams, and tropical birds of every kind.
